My final selection day at UWC was truly unforgettable. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I was welcomed with warmth and kindness, not just by the staff but also by the UWC students and my fellow candidates. Despite the natural nerves I felt at the start, their friendliness and encouragement immediately made me feel comfortable and excited to immerse myself in the experience fully.
Throughout the day, the kindness and support from everyone — staff, facilitators, and students — left a lasting impression on me. It wasn’t just about the selection process; it felt like a celebration of shared values and a vision for a better world.

Having been a finalist last year as well, I noticed that while the format of the final wasn't significantly different, I felt more comfortable this time, particularly during the reflections and interview. One activity that especially stood out to me was the last one. It offered a perfect blend of vital lessons, fun, intellectual curiosity, and creativity, leaving a lasting impression.

The tasks helped me think creatively, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with others.What made the day even more special was the fun and lively atmosphere. I appreciated the humor and light-hearted moments, which made it easy to connect with other participants and feel comfortable expressing my ideas.
Through this experience, I discovered strengths I hadn’t fully recognized before, such as my ability to think on my feet and contribute to a team. It was inspiring to see how everyone brought their unique perspectives to the table, and I am grateful for the chance to be part of such a dynamic and diverse group.

I’ve realized that it was one of the most cathartic experiences I have ever had. During the entire time I was at UWC Dilijan, I realized how honored I am to be among the group of people selected with me. Everyone was so gregarious and astute that it motivated me to keep working on myself more and more. Regardless of whether the answer is “negative” or “positive,” I am so grateful for the opportunity I was given and will continue to develop myself.

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who planned our day and made it an unforgettable experience filled with new connections, knowledge, and self-discovery. My emotions throughout the day were varied—I felt nervous and calm, happy and sad, satisfied and unsure. But above all, I felt grateful for experiencing these emotions because, in the end, I believe they are what make us feel alive.
